Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AC and MEP Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning (AC) systems and various Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of technical drawings and schematics, a commitment to safety, and a proven track record of working in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair AC systems, including split units, ductable units, and chillers.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on AC units and other MEP equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems, including lighting, power circuits, and control panels.
- Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to perform work accurately.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work is compliant with company standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform preventative maintenance on cooling towers, chillers, and air handlers.
- Ensure temperature control and humidity regulation for stored goods.
- Monitor and operate cold/hot water systems efficiently.
- Conduct chemical treatments and water analysis for cooling systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a HVAC Technician or MEP Technician in the UAE.
- Solid knowledge of AC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Technical degree or diploma in a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
- A valid UAE driving license is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
